Our Approach

Catering That Fits the Moment

Flexible, In-House Culinary Services Designed to Support Events of Every Style and Size

All catering at Aviator is handled by an experienced in-house culinary and service team, allowing food and service to move seamlessly with the rhythm of your event. Rather than offering rigid packages, menus are built around the type of gathering, guest experience and timeline you’re planning. This approach allows meals, stations and service to feel integrated into the event rather than operating as separate components. From intimate gatherings to large celebrations, catering is designed to support flow, comfort and consistency from start to finish. Hosting outdoors or off-site? Our Flight Bites food truck brings The Aviator’s kitchen to you.

Menus Built for Flexibility and Flow

A Range of Service Styles Designed to Match Your Event

Aviator’s catering options are designed to adapt to different event formats, guest counts and pacing needs. Whether food is meant to anchor the experience or complement the celebration, service styles are selected to keep guests engaged without slowing the event.

Catering options include:

  • Brunch and daytime menus
  • Hors d’oeuvres and grazing displays
  • Plated dinners and buffet service
  • Chef-attended stations
  • Late-night snacks and dessert offerings
  • Full-service bar packages

Menus are developed in collaboration with our culinary team to ensure food aligns with your event’s tone and timing. Dietary accommodations and customization are available, allowing the experience to feel intentional rather than templated.

Important Details You Should Know

Clear Expectations and Built-In Support to Keep the Planning Process Simple and Transparent

Planning an event at Aviator is designed to feel clear, supported and predictable from start to finish. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with remaining payments scheduled ahead of the event to keep planning on track. Final guest counts are confirmed in advance so service, staffing and timing can be coordinated smoothly. Professional staffing, setup support and breakdown are built into the experience, allowing hosts to focus on the event itself rather than logistics. The details below outline how each part of the process comes together.

Securing Your Date

Dates are reserved with a non-refundable deposit of $500 or 20% of the estimate, whichever is greater, applied toward your final balance. A second payment of 50% of the remaining balance is due at the 90-day mark or at the time of booking if the event is scheduled within 90 days. For all events, final payment is due five days before the event date. Credit and debit card payments include a 3.5% processing fee.

Our Team & Service

All catering services include professional staffing—servers, bartenders, event planners and day-of coordinators—supporting your event from start to finish. Catering services are subject to a 22% service charge and 8% sales tax, with the service charge supporting above-minimum hourly wages for our team. Gratuity is not required, though always appreciated.

Setup, Décor & Cleanup

Venue access is provided up to three hours before your event and one hour afterward to allow time for décor placement and cleanup. Our team will set up host-provided décor, with some restrictions on chair covers, balloons, fresh florals and ceiling installations. Once the event concludes, the décor is carefully dismantled and repacked into boxes or containers you provide.
